A Glimpse At My Future

April 20th, 2016

This session gave me a glimpse at my future.  I could almost see my boys at the ages of these boys and…it made me super excited.   The friendship I see between these boys, the fun banter they spew, and the way they love their Mama and admire their Dad, it all encourages me that every step of the way continues to be a treasure.  Clearly, you know I loved my time with this family.  They are special and I think their images convey the love they share.  Enjoy!

A Doll of a Senior

January 25th, 2016

This high school senior is a doll in every sense of the word.  She’s beautiful on the outside and such a sweetheart to everyone she meets.  We started out indoors for this shoot.  It gave her lots of options and I love the contemporary look of the indoor pictures.  Once we got outdoors, the day gave way to an overcast yet serene evening and the lighting was just perfect.  Emme, graduation is around the corner.  Congratulations!!!

Keena Family Celebrates

January 7th, 2016

It’s been quite a while since I’ve done a blog post.  I’ve been super busy and sadly, have neglected my blog.  But I’m going to try and do some back-posting.  Let me start with this amazing family, the Keenas.  This shoot occurred right after Christmas.  The family is from all over the country and everyone was able to make it to Tampa for Christmas.  And since the older two children are engaged, and child number three just turned sweet sixteen, there was so very much to photograph.  We had a great morning with the weather fully on board for fantastic photos.  Come visit our time together.

Caraway Family Photos

December 7th, 2015

These kids…this couple…that woman…this family…I adore them!!!  Not only have I been taking their pictures all over the Tampa Bay area for years, they are also some of my family’s favorite people.  They are just great people and our boys love being together.  It’s a really good match if you’re getting what I’m saying.  God gave us a beautiful evening for these photographs.

A Tampa Proposal

June 23rd, 2015

She said, “YES!!”  But he got her good!  Chris surprised Heather.  Like so good that he took her breath away…..for a long time. She was shocked and emotional and excited.  Chris called my husband to ask him to play and sing Ed Sheeran’s song, “Thinking Out Loud” and asked if I’d capture the whole event.  We were so thrilled and honored to get to help.  Once Chris and Heather were finished eating dinner at the beach, Chris suggested they head down and watch the sun set.  Once they were sitting down, my husband and I snuck up behind them.  I began to photograph and my husband quietly began to play.  It took Heather a while to turn around, but almost instantly she knew something was different.  This would be the best night of her life…so far.   It was beautiful!!! Just see for yourself.
